LFWF
London Fashion Week Festival 2017
Few days ago, I attended London Fashion Week Festival and this was probably the most exciting thing I did in September. I always say that travelling is not only about destination but also about experiences and beautiful people. Fashion week for me as a blogger isn’t just about going to shows… It is mostly about the variety of events, inspiration, lunches, parties and branded campaigns that go hand-in-hand with every week of fashion.
So, last Saturday I grabbed SabrinaPetchu and we came down the city of London to visit #LFWF . We checked more than 150 brands at industry insider prices and I was amazed by many designers’ minimalist aesthetic. We also visited catwalks including FYODOR GOLAN catwalk and we attended an amazing talk about the Role of Fashion Editor from a panel of leading fashion editors.
Started to getting my clothes together for this event a few days ago, I realized how much difficult is to me each time deciding what to wear to shows. This case was not an exemption! I should try on a million of pieces, mix and match again and again, and spend a whole day on my sister’s wardrobe. This pair of Steve Madden boots is the one I bought few weeks ago and I need to admit was a love at first sight. This lousy jacket is a men’s Paul Smith piece from the Soho outfit collection. Then, I finished off the look with an animal print beret from Accessories and my most favourite folklore item. A Russian white and blue beautiful scarf.
I tried to take as much photos as possible to show you my all favorite looks, my outfit and some memorable things. Part of the LFWF was to have some amazing fashion cocktails at Champagne Pommery UK and also we got our complimentary copy of ELLE. What I loved most at the festival, was the 2017 gender-neutral #RIxASHISH collection by River Island and the super talented designer, Ashish. Cant wait to get wrapped with this pink coziest coat. The Jamie Wei Huang’s unique juxtaposition of fabrics was what made him my No1 most creative label of this festival’s season.
An amazing week already passed….but these fashion weeks always make me feel that real catwalks are always at the city streets. To me, fashion is about letting our imagination to run wild and never think twice when we need to be bold!
